Polymorphicpenguin.net Research and Design Studio is the project of me, Peter Friedman and pfriedma.org. I started this project because I wanted a frontend to various personal points of interest including web design, robotics, software development, and ubiquitous computing.

Well, where to begin. I work for Carnegie Mellon University as a UNIX administrator. I have a BS in computer science with a minor in robotics. I'm also working on my Masters degree in Information Systems Management. pfriedma.org represents a group of different entities, polymorphicpenguin.net Research and Design Studio being one of them. Think of pfriedma.org as a behind the scenes thing - the hardware this website is hosted on, the file storage space used, etc are all part of pfriedma.org - the webserver is a virtual machine hosted on pfriedma.org, and the website content is hosted from within pfriedma.org AFS space.
